Cyx began his professional dance career in 2003 with Dance2xs International in Chicago, where he quickly established himself within the urban dance community. In 2007, he co-founded the Chicago Onyx Dance Alliance (CODA), a collective dedicated to elevating the presence and artistry of hip hop and street dance in the Midwest. Two years later, he joined the prestigious Hip Hop Connxion and was appointed director of the Chicago branch in 2011, where he continued to shape and mentor the next generation of dancers.

Over the years, Cyx has built an impressive performance résumé, appearing on major televised events such as the Soul Train Music Awards, the Grammys, the American Music Awards, MTV Music Awards, and the VMAs. His background work includes performances with top artists including Syleena Johnson, B2K, Marques Houston, Missy Elliott, Usher, and Omarion, showcasing his versatility and command of the stage across various genres and formats.

In addition to his work in the U.S., Cyx has extended his influence internationally as both a performer and choreographer. His career has taken him to stages in China, Japan, Australia, Canada, Mexico, the Bahamas, England, and Austria, as well as cities across the United States. With a global perspective and a deep commitment to the culture of hip hop, Cyx continues to inspire through movement, leadership, and creative collaboration.
